Serco Inc. (Serco) is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support the PMS 400 Shipbuilding Program Office at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to PMS 400 program policy and governance activities through coordination, tracking, and administrative execution of acquisition program requirements.
  • Support development, coordination, and tracking of lifecycle sustainment documentation, including task planning sheets and 7300's.
  • Coordinate review cycles and maintain status of program deliverables, ensuring timely completion and alignment with program requirements.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support in the preparation of program documentation, including briefs, SOPs, and deliverable tracking metrics.
  • Prepare and support development of correspondence, briefings, fact sheets, and white papers in response to leadership taskers and program needs.
  • Support program review activities by collecting inputs, tracking action items, and assisting with reporting on PMS 400 efforts.
  • Maintain program management tools and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, identify risks, and support overall program execution.
  • Coordinate with program office stakeholders, support organizations, and contractors to facilitate communication and execution of assigned program activities.

As the Senior Acquisition Analyst, you will directly support the PMS 400 Shipbuilding Program Office across all programmatic aspects at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY) in Washington, D.C. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the Navy’s most advanced surface combatant programs. You will provide critical programmatic support to ensure successful acquisition, construction, and delivery of the next-generation destroyers. Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for providing engineering and professional support on the Arleigh Burke Class (DDG 51) Destroyer Shipbuilding program. You will become part of a skilled group of acquisition analysts, engineers, and programmatic experts with a mission to improve the design, efficiency and quality of the next great ship for the US Navy.

In the role, you will:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • An Active or Current DoD Secret Clearance.
  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or business.
  • An Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4 years of experience supporting NAVSEA clients or similar/related experience.
  • Experience working relevant program policy and governance for military or government to include standard operating procedure documentation and process mapping
  • Expertise in MS Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PPT, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in developing project plans, acquisition plans / documentation, schedules, budgets, Life cycle sustainment documentation and status reporting to meet contractual requirements for a large portion of a program
  • Experience developing approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution
  • Experience in integration of weapon systems and equipment on ships.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.
