SSR, Inc. is seeking an Acoustics Consultant to translate operational and clinical requirements into practical, code-compliant acoustic solutions for healthcare, sports, and large venues.

The role emphasizes design development, modeling, and coordination with architects and engineers, with a focus on patient comfort, speech intelligibility, and audience experience. Opportunities for growth in a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in acoustics, engineering, physics, or architecture.
• 7+ years in architectural acoustics consulting.
• Experience in healthcare, sports, and entertainment venues.
• Professional certification such as INCE Board Certification or PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into practical, code-compliant acoustic solutions for healthcare, sports, and large venues.
• Design acoustic treatments and assemblies for speech privacy, comfort, and audience experience.
• Develop acoustic models and predictive analyses with industry tools.
• Produce design documents, specifications, and acoustic schedules.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with project team and client.
• Monitor budgets for audiovisual systems and assist with communication among stakeholders.
