Join to apply for the Senior Acoustical Consultant role at SH Acoustics.

SH Acoustics is seeking a senior acoustical consultant with 5-7 or more years of experience for a position in our CT headquarters. We are an internationally recognized acoustic and audio consulting firm specializing in museum & exhibit-based spaces, luxury residential, recording/broadcast studios, and other commercial/institutional projects.

The ideal candidate will have worked in at least one other consulting firm as both an acoustical consultant and project manager. Excellent communication, self-motivation, project management, and presentation skills are essential. A background in audio systems design is desirable, and an interest in live music and high-fidelity audio is beneficial. Opportunities for growth within the firm are strong.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading the design and management of various projects.
2. Providing design direction for room acoustics, sound isolation, and noise control.
3. Coordinating acoustic and audio aspects of projects.
4. Calibrating high-level playback audio systems.
5. Attending design meetings and site inspections.
6. Maintaining quality control throughout projects.
7. Working with management to promote the company and develop new business.
