Job summary

Paradigm in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) experience to architect, implement, and optimize integration platforms across the business. You will design ACE message flows, develop REST/SOAP services, and integrate with IBM MQ, HTTP, JDBC and cloud-native endpoints.

You'll deploy solutions on Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, contribute to CI/CD automation, and mentor teammates while ensuring security, reliability, and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering with ACE experience.
• Proficiency in ESQL, Java, and data transformation.
• Experience designing REST APIs and service orchestration.
• Experience with IBM MQ, HTTP, JDBC, and file-based flows.
• Experience deploying on Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Apply and contribute to integration patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Develop ACE message flows, sub flows, and integration services.
• Implement integrations using ESQL, Java, and other supported technologies.
• Build and secure REST APIs, SOAP services, and event-based integrations.
• Deploy ACE solutions on containers and cloud-native environments.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance.
