Job summary

Markon, Inc. is building a talent pool of Senior Accreditation Analysts to support IC facility and secure construction missions.

You will review SCIF accreditation packages for ICD 705 compliance, coordinate with CSAs and facility owners, and mentor junior analysts to ensure high-quality documentation. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of accreditation processing under ICD 705/705-2, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years SCIF accreditation experience may substitute for a degree.
• 5+ years processing SCIF accreditation packages under ICD 705 and ICD 705-2.
• Thorough knowledge of Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) requirements and SCIF accreditation processes.
• Experience reviewing accreditation packages and supporting documentation for compliance.
• Experience preparing accreditation review memoranda, findings, and recommendations.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review SCIF accreditation packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with ICD 705/705-2 and security requirements.
• Evaluate FFCS and supporting docs to identify deficiencies and ensure accreditation satisfied.
• Prepare accreditation review memoranda, findings, recommendations, and supporting docs.
• Coordinate with CSAs, facility owners, security, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the process.
• Process reciprocal use determinations and related accreditation activities.
• Track packages, deficiencies, corrective actions, and required docs to completion.
• Provide guidance on accreditation requirements, documentation, and compliance to project teams.
• Mentor junior accreditation analysts and perform quality control reviews.
• Support multiple accreditation efforts in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Markon is building a talent pool of Senior Accreditation Analysts to support future Intelligence Community facility and secure construction missions. This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify experienced professionals to support the accreditation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and ensure accreditation packages comply with ICD 705, ICD 705-2, Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC), and applicable security requirements. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings requiring senior-level accreditation expertise, compliance review, stakeholder coordination, and technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze SCIF accreditation packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with ICD 705, ICD 705-2, and applicable security requirements.

• Strong analytical, technical writing, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills

Desired:

• Experience coordinating accreditation activities with Cognizant Security Authorities (CSAs) and facility owners
• Experience processing reciprocal use determinations
• Experience mentoring junior accreditation personnel and performing quality control reviews
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community secure facilities and construction projects

Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
