Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) in California seeks a Field Accounting Supervisor / Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor) to supervise staff in VR Services Accounts Payable, ensuring timely processing and accurate coding using Aware, FI$Cal, and WEX CalDOR.

The role supports fiscal compliance under SAM, RAM, GAAP and internal controls, with duties across petty cash, checks, deposits, and coordination with the Field Accounting Manager for authorizations.

Formación

• Ability to utilize and maintain the departmental automated accounting system.
• Ability to plan, organize work priorities, and adhere to accounting policies.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise staff processing VR Services Accounts Payable.
• Oversee daily invoice review, coding, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with the VR Services Accounting Payable team.
• Direct petty cash, check issuance, and deposit processing.
• Ensure compliance with policies and internal controls; audit readiness.
• Support VR service and goods authorizations with the Field Accounting Manager.
