Job summary

Duplantisdesigngroup is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Thibodaux, LA to contribute to the accounting department by performing essential duties and supporting financial processes with accuracy and integrity. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration and at least five years of related experience.

CPA is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, audits, AP management, and coordination with external auditors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Five years or more of related experience required.
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with budgets and project reporting, specifically relating to key performance indicators.
• Assists with the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Pulls and compiles all information necessary for end of the year tax return.
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies as well as state and federal regulations.
• Assist in coordinating with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external/internal audits.
• Performs monthly employee insurance reconciliations.
• Oversee AP and all payment processing and purchases, ensure all automatic payments are posted.
• Manages rent payment schedules, as well as company debt schedules.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
