Senior Accounting Officer - Corporate Accounting

Location: Multiple Locations, including Wheeling, Uniontown, Ann Arbor, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, and others across the United States.

Position Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, primarily remote within the Bank's footprint.

Summary:

Maintain an accounting system that presents the company's financial position accurately, interfacing with management and applying professional judgment to accounting policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare or coordinate month-end close and loan reconciliations, including monthly loan reports.
• Assist with allowance calculations, including using third-party software and preparing supporting schedules.
• Review banking software for loan interfaces and ensure proper operation of related general ledger accounts.
• Prepare quarterly loan footnotes, MD&A, and related schedules.
• Analyze statistical loan reports and prepare special purpose reports.
• Stay informed of system enhancements and suggest improvements.
• Assist with audits and regulatory compliance documentation.
