Tokyo Gardens Company in Houston seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to own the accounting function end-to-end across multiple entities, drive process improvements, and develop the team as the business grows.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in accounting, CPA preferred, strong experience with multi-entity close, consolidation, and regulatory reporting; this onsite role offers a fast-paced environment and opportunities to scale the finance organization.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in accounting or accounting-related function
• 4+ years leading or managing a team
• Experience with multi-entity close and consolidation
• Regulatory reporting experience
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills

Responsibilities

• Own accounting operations end to end (bookkeeping, AR, AP)
• Lead month-end and year-end close across entities/divisions
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash management
• Design and scale accounting systems, controls, and SOPs
• Lead NetSuite process automation and system improvements
• Build and develop the accounting team; set goals and train staff
• Prepare and present financial statements to owners and senior leaders
• Coordinate external audits, tax prep, and regulatory reporting
• Maintain timely communication with vendors, customers and internal teams
• Collaborate across departments to support business growth
