• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics plus professional designation.
• Experience with accounting theory and practice within the insurance/financial services industry.
• Excellent communication and ability to present information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Compile, review, and analyze complex financial data for variance analysis and accuracy.
• Review external financial statements including GAAP, SEC, and STAT.
• Perform and review financial controls in line with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Prepare and review documentation to support internal/external audits.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Provide coaching and mentoring.
