Job summary

WEBTOON Entertainment’s Finance team seeks an experienced accounting leader to own monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for a global public company. You will drive policy development, P&L analysis, and audit responses, while leveraging AI to streamline processes.

Collaboration with Korea, Japan, and Canada finance teams is essential as you help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Based in El Segundo, CA, this role offers full-time work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years' experience in US-GAAP or IFRS accounting and standalone closing.
• Experience supporting and responding to external audits at a publicly listed company.
• Proactive in leveraging AI to improve closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly/quarterly/annual financial close and provide financial support to business units.
• Conduct monthly P&L analysis and establish accounting policies.
• Review accounting issues and support external audits.
• Plan and drive improvements to closing-related processes and systems, including AI adoption.
• Coordinate with WEBTOON group affiliates in Korea, Japan, and Canada to ensure complete and reliable closing.
