Legends Global in Anchorage seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and internal controls for our enterprise operations.

The role oversees event settlements, asset purchases, audits, and year-end reporting, ensuring accurate statements, compliance, and effective financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.
• 5–7 years' experience in public accounting and/or financial management.
• Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting.
• Excellent math skills and figures aptitude.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Review and/or prepare event settlements.
• Review and process checks and deposits; monitor cash receipts and disbursements.
• Monitor and project daily cash flow; invest excess cash as needed.
• Oversee purchasing of capital assets and supplies.
• Develop and implement all financial reporting for operations and corporate entities.
• Direct accounting records, ledgers, accounts receivable, depreciation, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and year-end reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews and/or prepares event settlements
• Reviews and executes checks and deposits; reviews daily cash receipts and disbursements
• Monitors and projects daily cash flow; invests excess cash as needed
• Reviews purchasing of capital assets and supplies
• Develop and implement all financial reporting for start-up operations, including:
• Prepare financial statements for the Client and Legends Global Corporate, and other financial reports, including monthly statements, annual budget and annual report
• Direct the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures
• Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records
• Analyze financial performance and cost analyses for all departments; prepares monthly financial statements, recommends appropriate actions/changes to meet business goals
• Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues
• Assist with the following tasks related to the facilities:
• Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
• Coordinate preparation of Client or external audit materials and financial reporting; implements recommendations of Client as requested
• Coordinates year-end report of fiscal performance for the General Manager's report
• Directs the installation and maintenance of any new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls
• Reviews financial statements with management personnel

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legend Global's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and Experience
