Job summary

WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for a publicly listed global platform. You will drive finance processes, including AI-enhanced closing, and support business units across regions.

Responsibilities include P&L analysis, policy development, audit support, and cross-region collaboration with Korea, Japan, and Canada finance teams. A CPA is preferred, with strong ethics and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in US-GAAP or IFRS accounting and closing processes.
• Experience supporting external audits at a public company.
• Bilingual in Korean and English.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and proactive ethics are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly/quarterly/annual financial close and provide financial support to business units.
• Conduct monthly P&L analysis and establish accounting policies.
• Review accounting issues and respond to external audits.
• Plan and drive improvements to closing processes, including AI-enabled efficiency.
• Coordinate with WEBTOON group affiliates in Korea, Japan and Canada to ensure complete and reliable close.
