About the Role

We’re seeking a driven, detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team! This role goes beyond traditional accounting—supporting strategic initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects that directly impact operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
• Assist with audits and tax reporting
• Perform cost, variance, and trend analysis
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Lead or support cross-functional projects beyond core accounting
• Implement tools to improve close and reporting processes
• Provide timely, accurate financial insights to leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
• Skilled in general ledger and financial statement preparation
• Experience with internal controls and investor reporting
• Proficient with accounting ERPs and related systems
• Job Costing and Project Accounting
• Logistics industry experience a plus
