Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead U.S. accounting operations for a growing pharmaceutical organization.

The role focuses on financial reporting, month-end close, team leadership, and maintaining strong internal controls, collaborating with FP&A and cross-functional teams to deliver timely insights. The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and a background in GAAP/IFRS with SAP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Public accounting and/or pharma industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close for U.S. entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting (IFRS)
• Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and GL activity within SAP
• Perform variance analysis and investigate key financial movements
• Manage and develop the accounting team (AP, AR, inventory, accruals, reconciliations)
• Own the close calendar and ensure all deliverables are met
• Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and manage audit readiness
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance (GAAP, IFRS, IRS)
• Oversee intercompany accounting (royalties, R&D allocations, shared services)
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Commercial, and Regulatory teams
• Support cash management and treasury activities
• Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements

This role partners closely with FP&A, Supply Chain, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights.

What You’ll Do

• Experience with SAP (required) and advanced Excel
• Proven ability to own month-end close and audit processes
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
