SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER

The Senior Accounting Manager will manage large accounting team of 8-12 accounting professionals at the Manager, Senior and Staff Accountant levels. This team is responsible for accounting and the field/regional level, including: GL Accounting, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, transaction accounting, internal controls, driving process improvements, and supporting an ERP system implementation.

The right candidate for this Senior Accounting Manager opportunity will have:

• CPA designation
• Big 4 audit experience
• Expertise in corporate accounting management for a large company ($2B+), including GAAP expertise, strong technical accounting acumen, and team building experience.
• 9-11+ years of relevant experience, including experience managing a similarly sized team
• Experience leading a system implementation/upgrade
• Experience working in manufacturing, retail or distribution sector
• History of job stability and career progression
• Ability to travel on a quarterly basis.
