Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Senior Accounting & Financial Analyst for our Creedmoor, NC site. You will report to the Finance & Accounting Manager and work onsite, partnering with Operations, PMO, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to drive financial performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field, strong Excel and modeling skills, 3+ years of analyst experience, and experience with ERP systems. Manufacturing/aerospace and SOX knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, economics, or business.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to model and build tools and dashboards.
• 3+ years of analyst experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong presentation skills to distill complex data concisely.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with internal customers.
• Knowledge of ERP and reporting systems preferred.
• Self-starter with curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or aerospace, emphasis on inventory costing preferred.
• Understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, PMO, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to drive financial and operating performance.
• Create, maintain, and improve standard reporting across Indirect, SG&A, Inventory, and CAPEX.
• Participate in inventory cycle counting, review variances, and process financial adjustments.
• Contribute to internal control environment; review work in process (WIP) inventory.
• Assist with weekly OPCF forecast model consolidation with Finance Manager.
• Assist and lead aspects of monthly close: journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Assist with site Indirect and SG&A budgeting consolidation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Perform ad hoc analyses on financial and operating metrics.
• Lead other projects prioritized by business needs.

Our team is looking for a Senior Accounting & Financial Analyst to join them. You will report to the Finance & Accounting Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.

To Be Considered For The Senior Accounting & Financial Analyst Opening, Here’s What You’ll Need To Bring With You

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Strong Excel skills with ability to financial model and build tools & dashboards
• 3+ years of analyst experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Strong presentation skills with ability to distill and explain complex data simply and concisely
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with various internal customers
• Knowledge of ERP and Reporting systems and how they interact is preferred.
• Self-starter, innate curiosity, and a problem-solving mentality.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or aerospace, with an emphasis in inventory costing methods preferred.
• Thorough understanding of general accounting principles, financial statements, and SOX’s compliance preferred.

As a Senior Accounting & Financial Analyst, You Will

• Partner with Operations, PMO, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality departments to understand and drive financial and operating performance of the business
• Create, maintain, improve standard reporting capabilities across Indirect, SGA, Inventory, and CAPEX Reporting
• Participate in inventory cycle counting process, including review of variances, and processing of financial adjustments
• Contribute to strong internal control environment, including review and analysis of work in process (WIP) inventory
• Assist with weekly OPCF forecast model consolidation, with partnership with the Finance and Accounting Manager
• Assist and lead certain aspects of monthly financial Close, including but not limited to analysis & narrative, journal entries, account reconciliations, standard reporting
• Assist with budget consolidation of site Indirect and SG&A expenses
• Identify opportunities within team and business for process improvement
• Perform ad hoc analysis relating to financial and operating metrics
• Additional projects prioritized by either business or department needs
