Yamhill County has one full-time position for a Senior Accounting Clerk to work as part of the Developmental Disabilities Team. Duties will include designing and maintaining complex spreadsheets and databases, reconciling fiscal documents, analyzing and preparing complex reports including payroll, budgets, and general ledger, among other responsibilities. Experience in medical insurance billing and/or accounts payable is required. Working knowledge of fund accounting is desired.

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be an independent learner capable of taking a lead role in billing for an HHS division. They should demonstrate a commitment to improving service delivery to clients, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. Effective problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to quickly learn procedures and computer applications (MMIS, Raintree) are essential. The candidate must work effectively alone or in a team, interacting courteously and professionally with co-workers and the public. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, MMIS, CIM, Docuware, and eXPRS is required.
