Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join our accounting department. This hands-on, full-cycle role covers cash management, reconciliations, payables, receivables, payroll, and financial statement preparation.

You'll own your areas, work with leadership, and gain visibility across the business. We value detail, discretion, and the ability to juggle deadlines while embracing insurance industry specifics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience or a recent accounting/finance degree with internship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills are a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency with attention to detail and discretion with confidential materials.
• Ability to juggle deadlines and multiple priorities without dropping a ball.

Responsibilities

• Cash management and bank reconciliations.
• Vendor payments, expense reports, and company payables.
• Customer A/R management.
• Internal transactions and data audits.
• Compiling and reviewing financial statements.
• General ledger account reconciliations.
• Payroll functions.
• Processing miscellaneous agreements.
• Other projects that support a growing team.
