Job Title : Senior Accounting Analyst, Accounts Payable (US)

Job Description :

The Senior Accounting Analyst, Accounts Payable is a key member of the controllership team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing vendor master requests, monitoring payments, and participating in projects. This role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable vendor master, invoice processing, and payments
  • Participate in internal and external audits as well as adhere to Sarbanes Oxley controls within accounts payable
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports and metrics
  • Manage vendor master file to maintain accurate and compliant vendor information
  • Participate in projects related to process improvement within the accounts payable
  • Ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures
  • Report on the status of accounts payable vendor master data
  • Provide guidance and support to associates, analysts, and specialists within the accounts payable function

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Proven experience as an accounting analyst in a large, complex environment, preferred
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations, preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and financial processes (vendor master, invoice processing, payments, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Understanding of data analysis and controls within accounts payable
  • Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
