An LA family office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team due to company growth. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for intercompany eliminations, assisting with AP, reconciliations, and additional GL duties. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Industry experience from consulting, business management, consulting, financial services, or a multi-location environment
• CPA a plus
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for a portfolio of legal entities with varying ownership structures and purposes.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure proper eliminations for consolidated reporting.
• Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, prepare financial reports, and identify and explain variances.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and other third-party service providers.
• Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes, controls, and systems.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
