Senior Accountant position for a Singapore-based consulting firm with an outsourcing unit in India. This is a Work from Home (WFH) opportunity with mandatory outsourcing accounting experience. The selected candidate will receive structured training in Singapore accounting and will independently manage a portfolio of Singapore-based clients while reviewing and guiding junior accountants.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a portfolio of Singapore-based clients, handling full sets of accounts, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statements.
- Review, validate, and correct junior accountants work; document errors and fixes.
- Handle month-end and year-end closure, reconciliations, schedules, and management reporting.
- Prepare and review consolidations and financial statements.
- Identify process gaps, propose controls, and implement checklists for consistency.
- Clear backlog items, investigate variances, and rectify misclassifications.
- Ensure compliance with SFRS, ACRA, IRAS, MOM, CPF, GST, and internal policies.
- Prepare concise completion notes and report key issues to management.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience reviewing and correcting juniors accounting work.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and closing processes.
- Understanding of consolidation (eliminations, intercompany, minority interest, mapping).
- Exposure to Singapore compliance workflows (IRAS filings, GST, withholding tax, XBRL).
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, reconciliation templates, error tracking).
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable working independently with Singapore deadlines.
Good to Have
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Remote work experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Supersee).

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
