Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years Big Four public accounting or 5+ years combined public accounting and industry with technical accounting exposure.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research, document, and support accounting conclusions.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, technical memos, and audit-ready documentation.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with complex agreements, valuations, and large data sets.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Operations, Commercial, external advisors, and auditors.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple high-priority matters

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for assigned entities and accounts, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting support.
• Record and reconcile activity in complex areas, including debt, stock compensation, derivatives, leases, intercompany balances, and structured transaction accruals.
• Own the end-to-end lease accounting process, including operating the LeaseQuery system, recording related journal entries, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Analyze financial results and balance sheet accounts, investigating variances and resolving discrepancies with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or standardize recurring accounting and close workstreams.
• Draft technical accounting memos and position papers with oversight from Senior Manager, Technical Accounting.
