Job summary

LAMP, based in California, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Financial & Tax Advisor to manage bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, tax coordination, and compliance across Texas and California. This is a hands-on senior accounting role that supports management with financial insights.

The candidate will oversee month-end close, prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts while coordinating with external CPAs and advisors to ensure US GAAP compliance and tax

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, or tax experience.
• Experience supporting businesses operating in Texas and California.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and state tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate company books and general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and month-end close.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and perform reconciliations.
• Support payroll accounting and payroll reconciliations.
• Coordinate Texas and California tax filings and compliance activities.
