Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Pursuing CPA or already a CPA.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Familiar with QuickBooks and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounting engagements from start to finish with accuracy and independence.
• Analyze financial records to identify discrepancies and unusual activity.
• Prepare and review ledgers, financial statements, payroll tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, and property tax filings.
• Research complex accounting and tax matters and develop solutions.
• Work with clients to understand their operations and accounting needs.
• Prepare financial analyses, cash-flow analyses, and other client projects.
• Supervise engagements and coordinate workflow to meet deadlines.
• Assist with audits, including planning and supervision.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
