Job summary

GSM Outdoors in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to partner with leadership, support private equity initiatives, and drive financial insights across a growing organization. You will be involved in monthly close, reporting, variance analysis, ERP optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing. CPA is preferred; manufacturing environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public or corporate accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
• Analyze profitability, margins, inventory, and operational metrics.
• Support variance analysis and executive presentations.
• Assist with acquisitions, due diligence, and integration planning.
• Participate in ERP optimization and process improvement projects.
