Job summary

Victoria’s Secret & Co. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the North America Stores Financial Reporting team. The role focuses on journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accrual analysis, and aiding monthly/quarterly/annual reporting under GAAP and SOX controls.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a BA/Finance or Accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP. Responsibility includes forecasting, ad-hoc projects, and audit support.

Description

The Senior Accountant is an individual contributor within the Victoria’s Secret North America Stores Financial Reporting team, primarily responsible for preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation schedules, performing analysis on current accruals and determining appropriate methodology to calculate accruals, as well as assisting with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate/financial reporting. Responsible for compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies, as well as adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls.

Other Responsibilities

• Provide forecasts to finance partners
• Analyze material fluctuations and providing explanations to leadership/External Reporting
• Lead ad-hoc projects as requested
• Follow up on outstanding issues on a timely basis with minimal supervision
• Identify areas of improvement and execute plans for implementation of process improvements
• Provide support with internal and external audit activities

Minimum Salary: $76,700.00

Maximum Salary: $101,955.00

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in preparing, analyzing, and reviewing accounting information and financial statements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA or CPA Candidate a plus
• Advanced PC skill proficiency including Excel; experience with SAP a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills
