Responsibilities

• Oversee statutory accounting and capital management for P&C insurance division
• Prepare and analyze financial reports ensuring compliance
• Conduct internal audits for risk and non-compliance
• Collaborate on financial strategies and initiatives
• Advise senior management on financial matters
• Travel quarterly for in-person meetings (about 4 days per trip)
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations
• Mentor junior finance team members

Qualifications

• CPA preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 7+ years in statutory accounting and/or capital management
• 1-3 years public accounting experience preferred
• Insurance industry experience, especially P&C, preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Willingness to travel quarterly
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
