Job summary

TechSource is seeking an experienced Accountant Principal – Special Projects to join our Albuquerque office. This full-time role reports to the Controller and works with the CFO to manage strategic accounting projects, improve processes, and ensure accuracy across the finances of large-scale programs.

Qualifications include US citizenship, a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, and 7+ years in accounting and project management. A hybrid schedule may be considered after training.

• 7+ years of relevant accounting and project management experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Unanet experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, implement improvements to accounting processes and workflows.
• Support and strengthen accounting structures for compliance and integrity.
• Collaborate with IT and project controls to enhance ERP-based reporting.
• Support indirect rate calculations.
• Perform high-level accounting tasks.
• Support other special projects as directed by department leadership.
