Job Responsibilities
  1. Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate accounting entries.
  2. Assist with external financial reporting, including MD&A and supporting documents.
  3. Ensure compliance with GAAP, conduct accounting research, and prepare position memoranda.
  4. Perform global consolidation tasks, including intercompany billings, reconciliations, and tie-outs.
  5. Analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and income statements for divisions.
  6. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support annual financial audits.
  7. Manage lease queries to ensure compliance with ASC 842.
  8. Conduct variance analysis and identify root causes of variances.
  9. Reconcile and review international monthly financial results, ensuring appropriate documentation.
  10. Collaborate with external auditors by preparing supporting schedules and work papers.
Qualifications
  • Required
  • CPA certification
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university
  • 3-5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in technology or service industries
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience with financial reporting, MD&A, and external reporting requirements
  • Financial analysis, variance analysis, and review of financial statements skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects to timely completion
  • Preferred
  • Experience at a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG)
  • Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting standards
  • Experience supporting ERP systems like NetSuite and Workday Adaptive Insights
