Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of work-related accounting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations; research non traditional balances.
• Reconcile all self-insurance activity to the IBNR analysis.
• Prepare accounting entries for health and risk self-insurance programs; post area journal entries as prepared by 3rd party offshoring partner; ensure desktop procedures are maintained by offshoring partner.
• Approve entries related to the self-insurance program; forecast the self-insurance programs; provide finance and site level support as required.
• Ensure accounting controls and policies are applied at all levels; meet published deadlines; understand the business impact of general ledger processes.
