Job summary

LHH in Burlington County, NJ is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting and financial reporting team. This highly visible role partners with leadership to manage SEC filings and financial reporting, offering a defined path to Accounting Manager.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with Big 4 experience and hands-on SEC reporting, ready to contribute to internal controls and policy enhancements while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active CPA preferred.
• 3–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with SEC reporting (10-Q/10-K) and US GAAP required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and review of SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K).
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close with US GAAP compliance.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and year-end audit activities.
• Support SOX compliance program, including testing and remediation.
• Research technical accounting issues and new pronouncements.
• Prepare reconciliations, balance sheet analyses, and variance explanations.
• Help implement accounting policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and ops teams.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
