MW Partner is seeking a skilled accounting/finance professional in Los Angeles to manage financial close, revenue recognition, and variance analysis. The role emphasizes accuracy, controls, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have a BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, 3-5 years of experience, and familiarity with SAP GL and Oracle Fusion. CPA preferred; entertainment industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with reconciliation and data.
• CPA preferred.
• SAP general ledger and Oracle Fusion experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel and Word).
• Excellent written & oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Entertainment Industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and report on GCD license agreements; interpret license fee calculations and payment terms.
• Complete financial month-end/quarter-end close, including revenue recognition and trial balance reconciliations.
• Analyze and explain FX variances monthly.
• Analyze actual performance vs forecast/plan and present results.
• Perform quarterly bad debt analysis and journal entries for GL posting.
• Support SOX and internal/external audits; ensure key controls.
• PRISM/TVR system: review contracts and update revenue data.
• Oversee revenue tracking and reporting; ad-hoc analysis.
