Job summary

Circle is seeking a senior accountant to own end-to-end revenue and partner arrangement accounting, ensuring accurate recognition and timely close. You will collaborate with FinOps, Product, Legal, Tax, and Data teams to define requirements, document memos, and improve controls.

A strong background in US GAAP and ASC 606 is essential, with a drive to use AI and automation for efficiency. You will contribute to audit readiness, develop scalable processes across the data lifecycle, and communicate

Qualifications

4+ years of accounting, revenue or audit experience with professional qualification.
Experience applying ASC 606 / IFRS 15 to complex arrangements.
Ability to translate accounting implications into system requirements and memos.
Strong data mindset and ability to investigate large datasets.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end accounting for revenue and partner arrangements, ensuring accurate recognition and close.
Maintain internal controls and reporting; support audits.
Design and implement AI/automation to reduce manual work with governance.
Review customer and partner arrangements under ASC 606 and non-standard terms.
Assess expected credit loss provisions and supporting assumptions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate accounting requirements into scalable processes.
Document conclusions in clear, audit-ready memos.
