Job summary

Keystone Experts & Engineers is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee month-end close, reconcile balance sheets, AR and bank activity, and payroll accounting across multiple subsidiaries. The role emphasizes GAAP-compliant, audit-ready financial reporting in a fully remote setting.

You will partner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate financial statements and timely consolidation for leadership review. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, NetSuite and advanced Excel

Qualifications

• BA Degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years related experience required.
• NetSuite experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, XLOOKUP and financial data analysis.
• Experience in a PE-backed or multi-entity environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close across subsidiaries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Create, maintain, and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Oversee AR roll-forward, invoicing, collections and cash application in GL.
• Maintain clean bank reconciliations and ensure tie-out to GL.
• Assist payroll processing and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
• Coordinate monthly activity, consolidation and cross‑functional reporting for leadership.
• Support GAAP compliance and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to scale operations.
• Demonstrate understanding of how accounting entries impact financial statements.
• Support tax filings and regulatory compliance initiatives as needed.
• Lead preparation and coordination of monthly and annual audits.
• Support M&A due diligence and post-merger integration activities.
