Humana Inc. Senior Accountant, Primary Care Organization prepares, analyzes and reports accounting transactions, ensuring policy compliance. The role supports forecasting, budgeting and variances analysis, guiding decision making with moderately complex technical approaches.

Reporting to an Accounting Lead, the position is fully remote within the US with possible hybrid options for proximity to Humana offices. 40 hours weekly; travel limited to occasional training or meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with proficiency in pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.

Responsabilités

• Perform general accounting activities and maintain ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensure integrity of records.
• Forecast, budget and analyze variations from budget; support strategic decisions.
