League One Volleyball (LOVB) is seeking a Senior Accountant for a remote US-based role. You will mentor the accounting team, manage daily club books across GL accounts, and partner with upper management on complex accounting matters.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in staff accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, experience in startups, and strong US GAAP knowledge with excellent communication to collaborate across FP&A, AP, Payroll, and Club Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in staff accounting role.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting.
• Experience in a startup environment preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own daily club accounting across GL accounts per US GAAP.
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Prepare timely month-end close and related reports.
• Support annual audits by external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual procedures and scale operations.
• Collaborate with FP&A, AP, Payroll, and Club Operations.
