Job summary

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, you will work with the Controller, investment teams, auditors, fund administrators, and tax advisors in a real estate-focused setting.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in accounting/finance, strong GAAP knowledge for funds, and hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager or MRI.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting/finance/operations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting for funds and management companies.
• SEC Reporting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, cash positions, partner distributions.
• Prepare and maintain accounting ledgers, loan tape, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Support investor reporting and distribution models.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for various joint ventures using Yardi Voyager/MRI to book journal entries.
• Monitor, document, and track vendor deal invoices, closings, payoffs, modifications, extensions, etc.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Prepare warehouse compliance reporting to counterparties.
• Assist with annual external audits for various fund vehicles and investment products.
