Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage tax, audit and related engagements with a focus on prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PWA) compliance and renewable energy tax credits. You will supervise staff, review engagements, and help strengthen client relationships while improving profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 2–3 years in public accounting or equivalent mix of education and work experience.
• CPA exam ongoing or passed sections is a plus and beneficial for progression.
• Strong accounting and tax knowledge with attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage time efficiently.
• Supervise Staff Accountants and mentor junior team members.
• Develop client relationships with a service-oriented approach.
• Research and apply guidance related to PWA compliance and renewable energy credits.
