Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Downtown Miami, FL, seeks a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This full-time hybrid role reports to the CFO and offers hands-on experience across management company accounting and fund-level operations.

The ideal candidate is an accounting professional aiming to build a long-term career in private equity, working with senior leadership in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Three or more years of accounting experience, or at least two years in public accounting with audit, tax, or assurance experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with general ledger/accounting software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
• Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and oversee close processes for the management company.
• Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations; investigate variances.
• Process accounts payable and manage vendor relationships.
• Assist with fund accounting including capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
• Support preparation of management company and fund tax returns.
• Coordinate audit requests and assist with investor reporting.
• Monitor quarterly financial performance of portfolio companies.
• Suggest improvements to accounting processes and controls.
• Participate in special projects as the finance function grows.
