Job summary

Tyson Foods in Nebraska is seeking a skilled accounting professional to support accurate financial reporting for plant and live operations. You will approve invoices, manage intercompany and contract records, and participate in period-end close and operational reporting.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and supervisory experience to guide a small team. Limited travel. On-site work shift 1st shift in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Supervisory experience over a support team.
• Travel limited.

Responsibilities

• Approves invoices and payments; reconciles accounts.
• Maintains feed ingredient cost tracking for cost analysis.
• Reviews and approves grower payments and contracts.
• Prepares bank reconciliations and period-end close tasks.
• Oversees Live Operations accounting activities.
