Job summary

Electra is seeking a Senior Accountant to scale a high-performing accounting function in a fast-paced aerospace environment. You will own core month-end close activities and payroll accounting across a multi-state workforce including Switzerland-based staff.

Beyond payroll, you’ll manage payables, expenses, invoicing, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation, partnering with People Operations and program teams, while supporting the ERP transition planned for 2027 and strengthening internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Direct experience processing multi-state payroll in a complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and payroll accounting mechanics.
• Audits or compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll accounting end-to-end and reconcile payroll-related balances.
• Coordinate with People Ops on payroll changes and equity events.
• Support international payroll coordination for Switzerland.
• Prepare month-end close entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead accounts payable operations and expense reimbursements.
• Assist ERP transition planned for 2027.
