CFS in New Milford, CT is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own the month-end close, perform reconciliations, and support financial reporting in a collaborative environment.

The Senior Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide leadership insights to the leadership team. This role offers exposure to multiple areas of the business and room for professional growth.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
• Prepare supporting schedules and account analyses
• Assist with financial reporting and management reporting packages
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with audit preparation and external auditor requests
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and operational initiatives
