Venture Global LNG in Cameron, LA is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day operational accounting for our LNG facilities and pipeline assets. This onsite role will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, FP&A and Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong operational support.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Formación

• CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP and/or other large ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of construction project accounting and fixed asset accounting concepts preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting processes, and financial reporting principles.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support operational accounting processes related to LNG facilities and pipeline operations.
• Prepare and record monthly accruals, journal entries, and adjusting entries in SAP.
• Lead inventory safeguarding activities and cycle count processes onsite.
• Oversee capital projects and related fixed asset accounting activities.
• Prepare monthly/ quarterly/ annual financial analyses and reporting packages.
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounting to ensure timely close and reporting.
• Partner with FP&A for monthly operational reporting, KPI analysis, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with onsite teams to ensure consistent accounting treatment and policy compliance.
