The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) is seeking a Senior Accountant in Seattle to oversee finance for LIHI, Partnerships, and LLCs. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and is a full-time, unionized position.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, month-end/year-end close, financial statements, budgets, AP/AR, rent rolls, and audit support. Strong Excel/Word, English fluency, and teamwork are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a staff accountant with a related degree.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends during busy periods.
• Must be a team player and able to teach others.

Aufgaben

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ad hoc reconciliations.
• Process journal entries and accruals.
• Perform month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and schedules.
• Assist with annual budgets and audits.
• Process AP/AR and rent roll reconciliations.
