Job summary

A leading designer of children’s apparel is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee core accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy. The candidate will manage monthly closes, prepare financial statements, and interact with various departments. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with over 5 years of experience in accounting. This role demands strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems. A hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in apparel or consumer goods.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage general ledger accuracy and oversee chart of accounts.
