The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee general ledger functions, period-end closes, and tax compliance across multiple entities. Reporting to management, this role collaborates with accounting staff and external professionals to maintain strong internal controls, support budgeting, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required/preferred.
• CPA or other relevant professional certification desirable.
• Five+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or complex operating environments preferred.
• Experience with general ledger, financial statement prep, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, cash flow information, and other reports.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules for a multi-entity corporation.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances, unusual transactions and discrepancies.
• Verify and reconcile accounts payable/receivable activity; support payroll accounting.
• Assist with cash management, banking transactions, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and internal controls; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
