CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in Minnesota. This role centers on month-end close, financial reporting, consolidations, and process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with consolidations or multi-entity accounting preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
• Perform consolidation accounting across multiple entities and business units.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and communicate findings to leadership.
• Support the preparation of financial reporting for a publicly traded organization in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Participate in accounting projects focused on automation, process improvement, and system enhancements.
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial performance.
