Qualifications

• 3 years of responsible experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or auditing.
• Four-year bachelor's degree with accounting major or a degree with at least 24 hours in accounting or auditing.
• 2 years of progressively substantive experience in budgeting, accounting, auditing, or financial reporting within financial management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain General and Subsidiary Ledgers, depreciation accounting for assets for Navy Exchanges, Navy Lodging and NGIS locations.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for NEXCOM lines.
• Assist in year-end inventory processes, audits with CPAs, and coordinate with auditors.
• Review and update accounting procedures to improve productivity and align with APB/FASB guidance.
• Interact with field locations and program management accounting personnel to obtain data and resolve issues.
