Job summary

Grand Pacific Financing Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations and keep financial records accurate and up to date. You’ll prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, reconcile bank accounts, and prepare financial statements and supporting worksheets.

This role also involves gathering information for annual audits, assisting with cash management, and entering transactions into our loan servicing system while collaborating with internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting-related work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily/monthly transaction journal entries, A/P, and general ledger.
• Prepare G/L control and all financial statements.
• Prepare worksheets for financial statements and audit information.
• Support cash management activities and bank reconciliation.
• Enter data into the loan servicing system.
• Generate billing and payoff statements.
• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
